This year’s British Pugwash Lecture at the Hay Festival of Literature and Arts will be given by Professor Dominic Lieven.
He will be presenting his latest work In the Shadow of the Gods.
This is an account of the men (and occasional woman) who led the world’s empires. The book probes the essence of leadership and power through the centuries and around the world. More on the book here
