British Pugwash discussion meeting Thursday 26 April, 18.00-19.30 entitled “Emerging technologies and strategic anti-submarine warfare”:
Sebastian Brixey-Williams, project leader, will discuss work done by British Pugwash and BASIC in a joint project to examine the long-standing assumption submarines will remain invisible to undersea detection technologies into the 2080s and 2090s, when the next generations of SSBN are due to retire.
